However, they stayed in there and main- tained the standard of excellence that is a tradition with this team. Coach Ganz This year's cross-crountry team was one West could be proud of. ln practice, and in meets, they ran up hills thru rain, mud, wind, and cold weather. Injuries to players such as Bob Bissel and Neil Rebbe on the Var- sity Ievel, and Larce Nlarrietta on the Sophomore level, hampered theteam.Through all this,West's cross-country team showed the excellence, in running as well as sportsmanship, that has been a West tradition.
