The Spring Band Review was one ofthe most entertaining events of the school year. Mr. Waggoner brought in the Jan Albus Dancers and a singer to provide the Music Labs with var- ious playing experiences. Howev- er, the main interest in the Re- view was the music and in that way, the Band Review was a big success. Camp Counseling Several West students took time from their school schedule to act as counse- lors for Parkway sixth graders involved in the Triple E Camping Program. This pro- gram, relatively new, was designed to acquaint students with their environ- ment and the different aspects of nature. Held at Trout Lodge, Potosi, Missouri for one school week, the students, along with their teachers and high school counse- lors, participated in many activities rang- ing from splunking to a graveyard study. Mary Mercer and her fan club pose for our photographer. Pathfinder The Pathfinder 50 was held April 30. The start was a burst of energy, sparked by the first five riders of each team. However, after for- ty-nine laps this energy was nowhere to be seen. Then came the fiftieth lap and there again came the strength as at the beginning.
