The Spring Band Review was one ofthe most entertaining events of the school year. Mr. Waggoner brought in the Jan Albus Dancers and a singer to provide the Music Labs with var- ious playing experiences. Howev- er, the main interest in the Re- view was the music and in that way, the Band Review was a big success. Alan Manning, Kaye Rice and John Hayes perform a piece from Chicago. awmfw Keith Ridenhour performs one of his many solos. 76

Winter Band Concert Kay Jones waits for her turn to play. Mr. Waggoner in all of his glory. An enjoyable evening was provided for all who at- tended the annual Winter Band Concert in West's Gymnasium. Three bands participated in this production: The Symphonic Winds, the Concert Band, and the Contem- porary Music Labs. The Contemporary Music Labs performed a couple of their own arrangements such as Rat Face Rag, whilethe Concert Band performed music from Chicago and the Symphonic Winds per- formed Pictures at an Exhibition. 25 Playingthe tube takes more effort than one thinks In a ready position, they wait for their cue.
