Our Bowling Club bowled every Friday at the Ellisville Bowl. We honestly felt that bowling in an eight team league once a week relieved much of the everyday tensions that surrounded every student at West. The team against - team competition as well as the individual bowling did much to give students a well deserved and needed break. i The 1972-73 Bowling Club Members. Our Ecology Club was interested in aspects of the environmental problem. We worked very diligently on a soda can recycling project within the school. Mr. lVlihevc was our sponsor. During Earth Week we had a poster contest and cleaned up the area around West. Although a small group, we got our feet wet as far as stirring up some interest about changing our world for the better. From then on it was agreed that the group would meet every Wednesday to develop new exercises and dance routines. We were able to express and develop our ideas through movement, rhythms, designs, qualities, and styles, we learned to think, feel, and move freely, and to appreciate dance as a whole. 1-
