D.E.C.A. Distributive Education is a high school program whereby students are enrolled in a program of instruction in merchandis- ing, marketing and management and, in addition, they are part-time employees of a retail, wholesale or service business. D.E.C.A. is an organization for distrib- utive education students. Through D.E.C.A. students gain an appreciation for the field of marketing. Business people as speakers, competition with other D.E.C.A. chapters, and the annual Employer Appreciation Banquet highlight chapter activities.
