The primary purpose of the student council is to promote positive activities and ideas for Parkway students. Membership on the student council is by democratic proc- ess of filing for office by petition campaign procedures speeches and finally voting by secret ballot or state voting machines. The student council serves as a successful liaison between the faculty and the student body. They also organize such traditional events as Homecoming' the Beauty Pageant' and all school wide elections. The student council truly strives for representation of all factions of the student body and welcomes any comments or suggestions from outside its membership.
