Volume 2 PARK ' iVAY SCHOOLS, March l5, I963 ROCKPORD, OHIO NATIONAL HONOR Rpcognition Ass Held Febnuory 2 ThG National Honor Society Rocognltion Assembly was hold on February 28, It opened with a stating of the aims and purposes of that society by Mr, Schlatter. Following this, Mr. Granger gave the traits necessary for membership, and the various teachers intro- duced the members by stating their activities and accomplishments. Those members chosen from the senior class were as follows : Karen Smerik, Cheryl Johnson, Cathy Kimmel, Ron Weitz, Nancy Rhoades, Karen Kettering, Candy Brohm, Patti Lee, Nancy Sapp, Den Frahm, and Ron Hcrtcl. The faculty committee chose Hcsc junior Sand- , 1 -Tk, ShF SOCIETY emb I y Barbara Snyder, . TTFiarl ' Hawk, and Theresa Belna. The sophomores were recognized: Janice Sibert, Sharon Luth, Dave Hurlcss, Sharon Kolter, and Bob Andcrsca The assembly was then closed following the repeating of the National Honor Society Pledge by the members. The tests began at 9:00 and were completed at 12:00. The tests oon- sistod of mathematics usage, social study reading, word usage, and natural science reading. He took his physical exam and also college board test at Ft, Benjamin Harrison on March 1, The principal ap- pointments were a boy from Celina and a boy from Troy, If neither of these boys passes the exams, Ron will have first choice. Ho was also appoint- ed fifth alternate to the Naval Academy, at Annapolis, Maryland, Don ' t forget the Sci- ence Fair and the Boo- ster Club soup supper tonight starting at 5:30.
