OPQLUOI' I will not follow where the path may lead but I will go where there is no path, and I will leave a trail. Muriel Stone The first students to graduate from Parkville High School, the Class of 1956, did not have a path to fol- low. The class has tried to set a good example for underclassmeng trying to lead the way for others to follow. During the years of the senior class, the school publication, The Pioneer and the student council came into existence. Other precedents were set: the operetta, spring play, Christmas play, and the an- nual senior Hallowe'en Hop. A member of the Class of '56 designed the school seal. Seniors led the stud- ents in school spirit by supporting the alma mater and the cheerleaders. The Class of 1956 hopes that by doing these things a path has been left for others to follow. 4
