The I959 Seniors . . . LEADING THE SENIOR class through its last year at Parkview were the class officers. Elected by the senior class, they were Kay Conrad, vice-presidentg Dorsey Dysart, presidentg Judy Donahoo, secretary. The starring roles of this year were portrayed by the talented seniors. Led by counselor, Mr. Fred Balden, this class gave perhaps the gayest production ever to be presented at Parkview. Act I began on September 4 as the seniors began their first day of their last year at PHS. This first act iFalll contained the first class meeting, teacherls meeting vacations, football, Viking Day, and the Senior Talent Assembly. Act ll fWinterl got off to a roaring start with the Senior Class Dance. The basketball season and Christmas soon rolled along. Act III fSpringl included the operetta, Senior Prom, sports, and the inevitable graduation. In these three acts, the seniors learned the necessity of knowledge and friend- ship and grew to love dear old Parkview. After a sad adieu, the seniors of 1959 set out to find their place in life with only the fond memories of their last year at Parkview remaining. Betty Larry Acuff Adams , .
