Eleanor Seitz The K-Shun was divided into seven committees so that each member could take an active part in the different activities. The chairmen of the committees were: Service--Lynette Pease Social-Winifred Benbow Program-Betty Hoag Entertainment--Gertrude Probeck Decorating-Catherine Willison Finance-Margaret Kolda Publicity-Cleo Carlin Many interesting meetings were held, this year, with several outside speakers. Among the more important events that took place were the Mothers' and Daughters, Valentine Banquet and the annual Christmas dance. The service committee entertained the old people at the Welsh Home. FITSC Row Guthery Drake Dean Sadlel Russell Schulke Rlchard Gxbson Carl Toeller Second Rom Cletus Oster Donald Osterland Robert Johnston Charles Gabrlel M Secr1st BASKETBALL Parkvlews basketball team had a fa1r season durlng 1932 33 It fin lshed Wlth 3 wms and 4 defeats The season started off w1th a bang by Bays w1nn1ng the game wlth Y Prep at Prep s gym Thxs game d1d not show the sk1ll exerclsed by the boys later 1n the season but we credxt thls to bemg the flrst game of the season On January 13 Bay took on Royalton IU Royaltons gym It was a hard played battle but by expert playxng Bay emerged from the heap a vlctor to the tune of 30 22 January 17 found Faxrvxews five 1n our gym ready for a hard battle They got one also a defeat as Bay won 45 18 After wlnnlng these two games we came to one of the hardest games of the year The game was w1th Independence and we dont know Just what lt was but lt seems that Bay emerged from the fray at the tall end of the dec1s1on whlch was Bay 25 Independence 33 but as guesses are wrong some tlmes you know Bay lost the game to Strongsvllle 23 24 wh1le the crowd yelled themselves hoarse durmg the whole last quarter and the overtlme perrod Now we came to another scrappy bunch North Olmsted a strong and cooperatlve team In a hard played battle 1n Wh1Ch two or our men were sent out on fouls North Olmsted managed to nose out Bay to the score of 28 35 A game scheduled for February 10 was never played but was tabulated as a forfe1t to Olmsted Falls The rrvalry of olden days agaln entered Wlth Bay meetlng the1r old rrvals Dover 1n a battle whrch ensued fast and furlous on our gym floor In a game sklll aga1nst t1me Bay topped therr r1va1s to the score of Dover 21 Bay 24 The lmeup IS as follows w1th the lettermen Sadler LG Toeller R G Schulke C Gxbson LF Drake RF Johnston G Osterland F and Gabrmel G SEVENITEEN - , U , ' . 7 ' v Friday, January 27, Bay took on a team they were sure they could beat, Q 1 7 ! - Y Y 1 , . - . .5 - . .3 - 1 ' - . .g - . .Q
