After only one year, he has won the respect and admiration of all the students of P. H. S. Not only has he carried out his duties as principal with much competence and authority, but also has shown patience and understanding in supporting us and our activities, showing great enthusiam for the betterment of our school. Therefore, it is with gratitude we dedicate this yearbook to Mr. Jack Gray. DEDICATION A DAY IN THE LIFE Looking back on the past twelve years, each individual senior sees things a little differently. However, as one examines the past more clearly, he realizes that these years were not composed of a succession of important events, but of everyday happenings which may seem quite trivial. So, at this time we pause to reflect on ”a day in the life at P. H. S. Too often the everyday occurrences in life become a habit. Everyone, at some time if not always, has been quilty of moving through life unaware of the changes about him, not realizing that every minute of the day is a small building block in life. Soon, this portion of our lives will be over. Classmates who have spent many happy hours learning, developing abilities for leadership, acquiring friends and forming characteristics for good citizenship, will be leaving the safe little world of Parks ley and enter into the hard world outside. Some day each of us will look back and wonder how it passed so quickly. Then, we will understand how important things really are to the fulfillment of life. mm ' WgKtMf. 8fc.Jii. n m rw ' . ' V 6 8 Time! what an empty vapor T tis! And days, how swift they are: Swift as an Indian arrow- Fly on like a shooting star; The present moment just is here, Then slides away in haste, That we can never say they ' re ours, But only say they ' re past. Editing this year has been an enjoyable and rewarding opportunity. We hope this book will bring into your lives a little extra happiness in the coining years when you can look back on a few of the many fond memories of dear P.H.S. I would like to thank the faculty and the annual staff for making it all possible.
