Before most of you realize it Parksley School will be a memory rather than one of the main phases of your daily life. It has been our purpose to prepare you to meet the experiences of life with a greater under¬ standing and to face these experiences with courage and resourcefulness. Individually you will walk many different paths in life, your education here is merely a beginning. Never forget that you can make of your life only that which you are willing to work for. It is our sincere wish that you will take advantage of every educational and spiritual opportunity along life’s pathway, so that your life and its contribution will be both satisfactory and rewarding. Administration It would be difficult for anyone to get along without the helpful services of its efficient secretary, Mrs. Parks, who extends a helping hand whenever needed. Her secretarial duties include bookkeeping, filing, recording school transactions, and handling all money that comes into the office. Her work undoubtedly gets interrupted hundreds of times daily, but she can be relied upon to exercise that one great virtue which she abounds in-patience. 8
