DEDICATION Mrs. Sprague and Mrs. Northam pause in the hall to discuss some of their activities. Mrs. Sprague sponsors both the Glee Club and the F.H.A. while Mrs. Northam sponsors the Beta Club. We dedicate our 1964 Eagle to these two teachers who through their inspiration, understanding and sincere interest have done so much to guide us through our high school years. The Senior Class of 1964 PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE The school faculty would again like to commend all of those who have worked so hard to make the 1964 EAGLE a success. It is a tremendous task to select the most important happenings and events during your school life here at Parksley, but we believe you have tried to do your best and we want to congratulate you on a job which we feel has been “well done. We are humbly and sincerely contented if we have been able to help you in your undertakings while here at this school. May we be permitted to use this space to give you this bit of “parting advice: YOUR SUCCESS IN LIFE DEPENDS UPON YOU. We, as teachers, could only guide, direct, and encourage; the actual learning had to be done by you. Do the best you can with what you have and you need have no fear of failure. On behalf of the Senior Class, we should like to express our deep reverence and love for our Alma Mater, Parksley High School. The memories of the experiences that we have shared within its walls and on its athletic fields will always be cherished by each of us, and the friendships we have made here will never be forgotten. And now that the time has come when we must walk from these doors for the last time, we would like to leave behind our yearbook, in which we have endeavored to record some of the highlights of the year.
