Russell Parks Jr. High hereby dedicate this yearbook, The Panther 1978-79 to you. Our Vice Principal hails from Los Angeles where she attended Manual Arts High School. From there she went to South Carolina where she studied at the Bob Jones University. She earned her Bachelors and Masters degrees at California State, L.A., where she graduated from college. From 1965-1971 Mrs. Lindstrom taught 3rd and 4th grade then 7th and 8th grade in the city of Alhambra. From there, she went to Nicolas Jr. High where she spent a year as Vice Principal. In 1972, she came here to Parks to take on the position of Vice Principal. Mrs. Lindstrom has two daughters. Linda is twenty-two and is interested in music. She is an accomplished violinist. Elizabeth is twenty and is interested in drama. Both girls are in college. Her husband Larry, whom she married last July, is a communications engineer. Some of Mrs. Lindstiom's hobbies are: read- ing, going to movies, raising houseplants, going to Big Bear and driving the boat while her fam- ily skies, fshe used to skij. V After a long day at Parks fsometimes very longj she likes to relax by talking to her hus- band while he fixes dinner. Hellikes to cook and she does not. When asked what she likes about Parks, Mrs. Lindstrom said it was the openness and the easy communication between people. I like it here!',
