,B had talent to win, but was a disappointment ' ' Britt Ktmel The 1977 78 cross country team though starting off with two wins fell victim to larger teams and injuries The highlights of the season came when Parkland defeated Greensboro Dudley 77 28 and when Marvin Dean and Buster Conrad broke I6 mmutes on thetr times tn a meet at home against South Park The team s final record was 7 S Some of the cross country members line up before 't practice run. Dennis Craft runs the course during '1 meet. James Torrence runs toward the finish ofthe meet.
