APPRECIATION To show our gratitude for the service she has willingly rendered, the Class of 1964 has chosen to honor MRS. MARIAN J. SAUL. Our librarian has instructed students in the use of library facilities and has shown personal interest by helping them solve their problems. During the ten years she has been at Parkland, the number of volumes in the library has more than doubled, and she has enlarged resources to the extent lhat former students in college often return to use them. To promote student interest in the library, Mrs. Saul has founded the library club, instituted a record library, and opened the library during the evenings and the summer. We will always remember Mrs. Saul's pleasant friendliness and helpfulness, and we appreciate the lasting effect she has had on our class. tF Qlnefc Please 5

DEDICATION As we turn back the pages and view our high school years, we remember the many teachers who have served as our friends, educators, and guides. Foremost among them is Mr. Ralph E. Seltzer, a man who has devoted himself to teaching at Parkland High School for the past sixteen years. The Class of 1964 will long remember him. Some will remember him as their business education teacher. Others will remember him as a class advisor who helped plan and co-ordinate the class activities. Among these activities were the Junior-Senior Prom, the class plays, class dances, and class meetings. We must express our gratitude to him for doing the many little things which made each endeavor successful. The Class of 1964 proudly dedicates this yearbook to Mr. Seltzer. 4
