IN MEMORIAM We, the Class of 1963, dedicate this page in memory of the late Dr. William Swallow, who passed away on May 26, 1962, in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Dr. Swallow came to Parkland in 1935, after attending Philadelphia Museum of Art and the University of Pennsylvania. A brilliant artist in his field, he displayed his love of Pennsylvania Dutch Art through his paintings, mosaics, and statues. When Dr. Swallow died, the world lost, not only a magnificent artist, but also a sincere human being who was respected by all. 26

IN MEM0R1AM We, the Class of 1963, dedicate this page to the memory of Mr. Gerald Frick who passed away March 3, 1962 in Sellersville, Pennsylvania. He was a graduate of Allentown High School, Muhlen-burg College, and received an M.A. from Lehigh University. He joined the faculty of Parkland High School in September, 1951. Faculty, Students, and graduates will never forget him for his contributions to the school. 27
