For example. there's tall. dark, and mysterious Mr. Kistler-well, tall anyway. In the room next to his, we can hear the sound of Mrs. X'Verley's voice asking, Is this a free hand drawing? The next room is enipty. You see, that's Mr. SCC'lllC1ilS, and he's busy patrolling the cafeteria. XVhen we stop for a visit with Mr, Kenneth Moyer, we lind him explaining income tax so we hurried- ly make our exit. XVe stroll clown the hall to Miss Christ's room, but she's oct- eupied with 'l'ri-Hi-Y work. Vlell, there's always the downstairs. Mrs, Smith is preoccupied dreaming about the new home she and her husband are planning. We decide not to interrupt her dreaming and instead peek in on Mrs. Fish, who is explaining Algebra problems to her homeroom. Ah, at last we lound someone to whom we Can talk. However, when we ar- rived, he was busy planning plays lor the cotning lootball game. while his physics class was doing an ex- periment. XXX: scooted through the supply roont to Mr. Leibenguth in the chemistry lab. He was too 'Anervous to be ol' much help. As President, ol' the Science Fair, he had quite a number of problems to solve. hlrs. Durishin was rehears- ing new cheers with her cheerlead- ers, so we decided not to bother her. As we cante near the biology lab, we heard Miss Pharoah saying, How can you live so long and know so little - dissect does not rhyme with bisect! Oh well, there's always good-looking Mr. XX'hite. The only hindrance was that he was involved in prepara- tions for a Boy Scout program lor that evening. As lor the gunt chewing constituency ol' our class, they will never forget the strict rules Mr. Miller ntade about exercising our gutns.
