Throughout our high school years we have worked to achieve all of these things, and we have seen and lielt them as they have materialized. XVe however. have never lost sight of the liaet that along with work there must he play. All those, who in the past. have had the good fortune to study under his guidance will remember him not merely as a teacher but also as a philosopher, idealist, and humanitarian. An atmosphere of culture permeates all his endeavors, both in and out of the classroom. It is particularly fitting that this volume with its theme of new opportunities should be dedicated to him who has done so much to help our class realize its potentialities and abilities, for these will help us pursue our Unew opportunities with greater understanding and enthusiasm.
