We fondly dedicate the 1983 ARENA to Mrs. Maurine Webb. Mrs. Webb, who has been at Parkland since 1970, has been a wonderful friend to her students, and a tri- bute to her profession. CHARLES QUISENBERRY: has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Louisville, and his Mas- ters Degree from UTEP. Mr. Charles Quisenberry is a favorite among teachers of senior students. Al- though he has only been at Parkland for three years, he has shown students here that he cares about their interests and needs. It is with pride that we dedicate this yearbook to Mr. Quisenberry.

Faculty Chooses Most Outstanding Members of the faculty chose Christine Szeredy Most Outstanding Girl for 1984. Christine was freshman valedictoriang a member of Foreign Language Clubg Art club presidentg and secretary of the Nation- al Honor Society. Christine also received the D.A.R. American History Awardg was named to Honor District Choir, All-Region Choir, and was a National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test Semi-Finalist. She has been a member of the library clubg is one of the top five members of her graduating classg and was named to Who's Who for English. Christine was elected Most Likely to Succeed by the members of the senior class. She plans to pursue the fields of Special Education and Psychology. Delray Peeples was chosen Most Outstand- ing Boy for 1984. Among his activities, Delray has been a member of the National Honor Society. He has been the Library Club vice-presi- dentg Foreign Language Club presidentg Band presidentg and Drum Major. He participated in the all-region choirg re- ceived the National Merit Scholarship Quali- fying Test Commendationg and was a repre- sentative to Boys State. Delray attended the University of Texas at El Paso summer Engineering Institute. The seniors voted Delray Most Likely to Succeed.
