The VOE program fVocational Of- fice Educationj provides vocational instruction in office procedures both in school and on-the-job learn- ing experiences. The chief aim of VOE, is for students to prepare for advantageous initial entry into em- ployment of office occupations. Learning is conducted in a class- room laboratory with situations that provide opportunities for individual and group instruction. The VOE program helps students in various ways. The program helps develop their skills in office ma- chines, such as electric typewriting, adding, calculating, duplicating, and transcribing machines. VOE also of- fers preparation for general clerical, stenographic and bookkeeping jobs and provides instruction related to locating, applying for, and being in- terviewed for a job. The students participate in chap- ter activities which will help devel- ope traits of citizenship, leadership, and good character. 106 .. 55 f 3 Q A , s 'fifun FR 32 9 1 Dot Rosenkranz Susan Gonzalez Carmen Iacquez Patty Marsh President Vice-President Secretary Treasurer ff-323 if Sherill Easter Iody Watson Kathy Mann Karen Swanson Treasurer Historian Sgt. at Arms Reporter W? -L 'au-A Students learn various office procedures junior Lab works hard to prepare for on the job training.
