lfllfblfwlf 52 During October the entire Semor Class was organized into an annual staff for the pro duction of the 1951 Crusader An advisory staff composed of Helen Sysel Irma Meester Charles Christians Maureen Guggisberg Loyal McLean and Norma Arends planned the various sections and assigned Jobs to every member of the Semor Class A few students fulfilled their assignments as follows Duane Lmdaman photographer Duane deserves special mention for the many hours spent doing more than his share H took most of the pictures did a great deal of lettering and helped assemble pages of the master copy Charles Christians solicited advertising Charles Cleary served as photo grapher and helped in completing pages Norma Arends and Carole Hobbs contributed the original writing m the Semor section Carole also reported for Top Talk and helped to assemble pages Irma Meester typed nearly all the material in the faculty and Semor sections and helped on grade pages Rose Perry and Paul Claassen assembled the under classmen section also helped on the grade section Paul helped in typing the Semor section Maureen Guggisberg as art editor was responsible for all drawings and some of the lettering Loyal McLean managed the sales campaign and also helped assemble pages Helen Sysel reported for student council and band also helped on grade pages Gene Henning willingly helped ln cutting pages pictures etc in addition to helping with the photography Mildred Bergman collected the information for the faculty section and helped with grade pages Others who showed up at least once or twice at staff meetings to lend a helping hand were Siebo Jansen LaVerne Fleshner Jack McLaren Gene Roberts John Bode Ruth Leuch and Jim Siems ln all members of the class helped finish about 30 pages of the master copy Write-ups for the various activities not mentioned above were completed by the faculty sponsors of the organizations 4
