There are memories of times we've taken life only half seriously, now we must open our eyes and look to the future. We say hello to the unknown and at the same time goodbye to the familiar. Adios to the high school, au revoir to study! Hola to a new world, bonjour to life! How long ago the sophomore year seems! Days were slow, but a year went by so fast that if we blinked we could miss it. Don't look back, such action brings only sadness. Through good and bad we have loved and hated school years, both at the same time. The year we thought would never come has come and almost gone. The magic time of growing up is here, tomorrow brings us freedom and responsibility Goodbye to hallowed halls, hello Vietnam, for my draft number is low. We will be from the old Alma Mater, not a part of it any longer. We must be grown up, we got the vote! What direction now? We move into a time of abiding by our own decisions. is Q14 Q26 'X tx I f ,f 'sf x f .f -- ,mf 4. . if. l l Ayf,?f Q , 5 :ff M?-i39.2A. .gy - eff. 94 iv., Y Y U i. Lyrics: Julie Dodd Melody: Tim Moellendick Senior Class Song of 1972 The classes of the by-gone years Have pledged to save the world, But still it turns 'mid myriad tears, No plan has been unfurled. We'll go about our different way. Our lives won't be entwinedy If we will live iust day by day The secret we will find. We'll show kindness to our fellow man Wherever we may see, And always lend a helping hand Wherever we may be. Let's go from here without big plans That we cannot fulfill, But each of us by some small means Can mold life to our will.
