Wrcwvrd We, the Seniors of Parkersburg Catholic High School, members of the Class of '56, present our Yearbook, Omni- bus Omnia. In the days of old, the knightwent forth upon a quest, to meet and vanquish the foe, to gain glory for the noble house that gave him birth and to learn and practice the laws of chivalry. Before he set out he spent the night in prayer be- fore the King of Kings. After the vigil he rose, pledged his allegiance to be loyal to his king, who then knighted him. Our interpretation of Omnibus Omnia is to exemplify the virtues of the ideal knight. We 'have realized that truth must be recognized, accepted and pursued. We know that our best endeavors will not succeed without the blessing of self-control. AChristlike refinement must characterize us in our dealings with our fellow-men. The two-fold loyalty expressed by Christ in His demand that we render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's and to God the things that are God's, will make us worthy of our two-fold birth- right as American citizens and future ritizens of heaven.

ehinatiun The time has come now for us to bid farewell to our school in which we have passed so many happy years, years of our early childhood in the old school building of St. Fran- cis Xavier's or in St. Margaret Max-y's out in North End. Now, drawing quickly to its close, are our high school days, those we have spent in this fine new building so well equip- ped to aid our growth and progress inlearning and knowledge. There is something else however, that our school has done for us. It has trained our characters for our spiritual combat. It has brought us into contact with a Religious to whom we are all devoted, one whom we love and esteem, whom we admire and revere. We have felt that we might express our gratitude in some small way to this Mother to whom we owe so much for she has watched our progress from childhood on with prayerful interestp she lives in the hearts of many of us very vividly from the day of our First Holy Communion--from other red-letter days in our lives -- and on the day of our Graduation she will be there to wish us God-speed. To Reverend Mother Theotima, of the Sisters of the Poor Child Jesus, we, the Class of '56 dedicate Omnibus Omnia, our Yearbook. It is our act of gratitude and love to her for we shall never forget her.
