atlmlic Vauth Adoration aciety Rev. Father Louis Phillips of St. Ambrose Church, Belpre, Ohio, from whose parish across the river some of our students come, leads the Catholic Youth Adoration Hour. We have had the privilege during our Senior Year to attend this period of prayer before the Blessed Sacrament each month. lnaugurated in the Diocese of Wheeling at the request of His Excellency Bishop Thomas J. McDonnell, the students of Parkersburg Catholic are a part of a contingent of some twenty-four thousand students who are members of the organization.

The evening Mass was beautifully rendered by the singers of Junior High. The altar was tastefully decorated by the artistic hands of Father Leo Werner and the Mass of Our Lady was offered by him. Following the Mass we advanced to the altar rail in the traditional cap and gown of the graduate. Thomas Tucker, a brother of one of the Seniors and Sandra Morehead, sister of Mary Morehead carried the rings, Very Rev. Father John B. O'Reil1y blessed the rings, congratulated each Senior and placed the ring on each one's finger. Here are the happy Seniors returning from the altar rail. A reception and social evening was held in the Knights of Columbus Hall. 15
