Kenneth Nickell Ray Hodgson Linda Boots Allen Kehl Bill Walker Gary Coop Charles Kerr JUNIOR CLASS HISTORY On August 29, 1966, twenty-five excited Juniors filled the halls of P.R.H.S. During the summer we lost two members, Margaret Demmitt and David Butler. Dur- ing the year we lost Steve Diehm and Linda Moore, leaving us a total of twenty- three members. At our first class meeting the following officers were elected: President, Glenda Richardson; Vice-President, Aaron Gross; Secretary, Connie Holderman; Treasurer, Phyllis Osborn; and Student Council Representative, Freeman Thomas. This was the beginning of a very busy year for the Junior Class. The class sponsored several money raising projects during the school year. They were a car wash, a Halloween Carnival, two turkey shoots, a work day, a shot gun raf- fle, the concession stand at the football games, a chili supper, taking census for our school district, magazine sales, and our Junior Class Play, Here Come the 3rides . On April 3, 1967, the Juniors attended Government Day at Mound City. During the year the class enjoyed two class parties. The first a pizza party at the high school and the second a party at Cook's Ford. On April 21, 1967, the Juniors presented the Seniors with a very lovely ban- quet and prom. The theme for the event was Shower of Stars . The band play- ing for the prom was the Morning Dew . The Juniors are now anxiously looking forward to their final year at Parker High. 15
