In addition to the re5ular courses taught in the Hidh School, Parker has complete de- partments in mwsic, domestic art, industrial art, vocational agriculture, commerce, and physical education. School Calendar k Rural High School reopened with an enrollment of 160 students. F. A. held their first meeting. The Parker Panthers were downed by the Garnett football team O-18. The Parker High School Band attended a parade at the Osawatomie fair. Parker and Westphalia tied in football game with a score of T-7. Parker was defeated by Blue Hound football team with a score of 23-6. Pupils took first six-weeks examinations. Parker Panthers defeated Wellsville football team 14-O. Parker Parker Parker band played for the Farm Bureau at Parker. Panthers downed Lacygne in first home football game, score 12-6 High School band played at the Republican rally at Fort Scott. Louisburg downed the Parker Panthers in football game, score 13-O. The Senior pictures were taken. Teachers attended state meeting, giving the pupils a one day vacation. F. F. A. presented a Box and Pie Supper. Parker downed Mound City Eagles 7-6 in Home Coming football game. F.F.A. organization attended American Royal at Kansas City, Missouri. The Juniors, directed by Miss Ropp, presented 3-act play 'Take It Easy Students took six weeks examinations. Parker Panthers beat Pleasanton 35-O in last football game of season. Students went home for Thanksgiving vacation. Bork left for his new job as teacher in Marshalltown, Iowa. Parker downed Lacygne with a score of 51-28. Mr. Gillmore, our new Principal, arrived from Yates Center. Pleasanton defeated the Parker basketball team with a score of 24-21. Fontana defeated the Parker Panthers with a score of 18-35. Parker Vocational Agriculture Class attended sheep meeting at Cadmus. Parker Panthers defeated Lacygne Basketball team 35-32. County Basketball Tournament was held at Lacygne, Parker took third. Parker F. F. A. went to the District Poultry contest at Ottawa. Girl Reserve Ordanization presented three-act play nPigtails'. Donkey Basketball game. Score, Faculty 22, Lusinessmen 26. Parker F. F. A. took fourth place at public speaking contest at Paola. Parker Glee Club presented an operetta N Love Goes South U. The Girl Reserve organization gave all the athletic boys a party. The Juniors invited the Seniors to a party. Parker Band attended the County Music Festival at Mound City. Parker F. F. A. went to the District livestock contest at Olatha. The Girl Reserve girls gave their dads a banquet. The F. F. A. boys invited their parents to a banquet. Juniors Class held annual work day. ' Girl Reserve Organization had a date party. The Senior Class presented a three-act play, 'Sulphur And Molassesn. Juniors gave annual Junior-Senior banquet in the Parker School Gym. Parker went to the County Track Meet at Fort Scott. Senior Excursion. All school projects on display to the public.
