CLASS REUNION 1975 The class of 1955 met at the Parker Hotel in this year of 1975. Everyone was very hilarious in their appearance as well as in their actions. This slightly slap-happy group met in the elaborately decorated modern main dining room for our first homecoming banquet. After the wonderful meal, we as a class sat and started a buzz session with everyone telling what they had mastered or been mastered by in the past twenty long grueling years. The variety of fields of ac- complishments represented at this reunion was really outstanding, remarkable and somewhat atsounding. The secretary's report for posterity is recorded as follows: . The class was welcomed by none other than Sid Whittaker, the manager of the hotel - that wonderful guy endearingly remembered as Moose . ' Rodney Bowser popped to his feet to tell us that he had just returned from South America, where he is employed at the Bolivia Chemical Company, as a chemical engineer. Teacher Bob Trill amused us with some of the incidents that happened in his social study classes. His explanation of his students' antics reminded us of our senior year in good ole P.A.H.S.,' Bob incidentally is a member of the faculty of Scheneley High School. Next, Dr. Richard Marnic explained the competition he enjoys with Dr. Baum in the Baum Building in Pittsburgh, where he is practicing dentistry. Patty Wyant and Violet Lytle, still the pals after twenty years, chattered gayly of their jobs as medi- cal secretaries in Philadelphia. They both told of the complaints, gripes, and criticisms they hear in the course of one day. Peppy Mary Ellen Konkle, with carbon marks visible on all ten fingers, told of the Farm Bureau In- surance Agency where she is working. Yes, our Senior staff typist is still making full use of her commer- cial training. Nancy Kastory couldn't resist showing and distributing samples of her hair shampoo guaranteed to beautify with one hundred shampoos - or else! Lorraine Blymiller, a competitor of Ken Cristy as a hair stylist, displayed her latest creation on a French poodle. These girls in the beauty world make the rest of us raise a quizzical eyebrow. Zeuhls Best, Mary Francisco, and Marilyn Graizer announced that they all answer the call of hey Nursie. Marilyn related - on the side - that she has been holding hands with a wealthy bachelor patient at Bell Hospital, while Zeuhls has been flirting with a handsome Doctor at the Skiddy Hospital. Mary, on the other hand, told of an interesting patient she was caring for -- a man - of course! Mary Ellen Caldwell, the private secretary for the Governor of Ohio, stated that she has become a very good Buckeye. Major Raymond Seigler - with a three-day pass from the Air Force of the United States - spoke of his fifty missions to Ethiopia. Wilson Masters, a mechanic at a very large garage in Dallas, Texas, displayed the true qualities of his mechanical mind by introducing Fido, his robot dog. Winan McCall, owner of the Great McCall Dairy Farm in Jacksonville, Florida, radiated health as he expounded on the value of milk in the diet. Betty jane Ramsey - as peppy as ever - told about her flying experiences and those of her husband - quite an air duo! She is living on the Air Force Base in Mississippi. John jordan, a professor of English in J. J. University, entertained with a reading of an original essay, recently published in Esquire. The superintendent of all brick layers in Denver, Colorado, Gayle Elliott, told us, You can really stack them highf' Minerva Goodman entertained her classmates with several selections on the guitar just as she did in the good old days at school. Dale Terwilliger came out of his corner talking like mad. You do know, don't you, that he is the mid- dle weight boxing champion? Jim Slater just returned from Hawaii last month where he is manager of a very large pineapple planta- tion. Jim reported that there was nothing like the sarong, the lei, and the hula. This one is really on the level, Marcia King checked in at the Level Works here in Parker. Nancy Trout, a very busy actress, took time off from her activities to attend this reunion to relate chiefly on her latest Broadway hit. Chuck McCall - still in good voice - super saled - us on You can be sure if it's Westinghouse. Of course, Chuck is an electrical inspector for said Company. The past twenty years have been very prosperous for all and now we are looking forward to twenty years of even bigger and better achievements. Our class expects to have our next meeting at the Clarion County Home For The Poor, where we all expect to be residents. This concludes the report since there is no furt her business to be stated. Respectfully submitted, THE CLASS SECRT TARY -16-
