The National Honor Society is made up of students from the senior high that have a superior scholastic standing. You become a full-fledged member in the last semester of the junior year. Sophomores and first semester juniors are +emporary members. In addition to scholastic standing the N.I-l.S. stresses leadership, sportsmanship, creativeness, and resourcefulness on the part of all its members. It attempts to build better character and molds worthwhile values in the lives of its members. We have had several meetings throughout the year at which we discussed some of the modern arts-painting and music-and gave our individual views on some of the current world problems. This year the National Honor Society is sponsored by Mr. Corle, our social studies teacher.
