DEDICATION During these past four years at A.P.H.S., we have seen many desirable improvements, both large and small, that have made for a better school. The outstanding of which are: the addition of a Home Economics department, an Industrial Arts shop, and a four unit building to house these new departments. Our athletic program has been broadened along with the gen- eral broadening of the curriculum. This enlarged curriculum has necessitated an increase in the teaching staff. ' These improvements have come about as a result of the inter- est of many people. There have been those who decided that a change was needed, those who decided what the change should be, those who gave the ideas life and direction, and those who made the ideas iina'ncially possible. All of these people deserve our sincere appreciation. America has always been grateful for her religious, political, and educational freedoms. Our free schools are part of this great Ameri- can tradition, and we, the seniors of A.P.H.S., have come to realize and more fully appreciate this priceless heritage. To those persons who have supplied words, ideas, time and labor, and have supported our free schools-their continuation and improvements,-we the Senior Class of 1951 proudly and grate- fully dedicated this, the 1951 issue of the Torch. -2-
