GIRLS' INTRAMURALS Girls' Intramurals is a club that gives girls an opportunity to participate in, learn and enjoy a variety of games such as basketball, field ball, volleyball, and soccer. We not only derive enjoyment from these activities but also healthful exercise and a better understanding of fairness and true sportsmanship. There are twenty-two members in this club. BOYS' INTRAMURALS Boys' Intramurals is an organization sponsored by Mr. Pager to benefit those who may not have the ability to take an active part in Varsity sports. The object of intramurals is to give each boy an opportunity to participate in basketball, soccer, volleyball, and many other such sports. As well as teaching the boys co-operation and good sportsmanship, it is ben- elicial from the physical and social standpoint. BAND In spite of the fact that this is the first year A.P.H.S. has had a band, we feel that the members, under the direction of Mr. Tritle have given us something of which we can be justly proud. The Band was hampered greatly due to lack of sufficient periods in which to practice, but still it participated in many activities. With the co-operation of the P.V.F.D. it led the annual. Halloween Parade and played a part in the Christmas Concert, and also the Spring Concert. Each member thoroughly enjoyed this year of instruction under Mr. Tritle, and hopes to produce, in the future, a band to take its place among the best of high school bands. 1411
