The qualiiications for membership are: the students must have good character and maintain a B average throughout the year. The club has written up a constitution and has received a charter from Harrisburg. At the society meetings subjects of general interest are discussed: modern painting and how it differs from that of the older painters, movies, as to whether the roles are played convincingly and wellg music and literature. i 9 T L Cfli The Iota Chapter of the Omega Xi Fraternity was organized in 1919. In the past the fraternity was much more influential than today. The boys in the active Fraternity brought in new members by a boobing or hazing period. Down through the years the true idea of the Omega Xi has- faded out of existence. The monthly letter to the National Head and National dues were forgotten. Until now all that is left of the original organization is the boobing period. The last of the Omegans are trying to get the Fraternity re-organized to a worthwhile organization.

The Class was proud of the success of the play as enjoyable entertainment and financial gain. The plot of the play consisted of a man and a woman, who had both been married be- fore and had teen-age children, preparing for marriage. But much to their surprise, both groups of children were jealously resentful of their parents re-marrying. Their actions of trying to break up the intended marriage provided good entertainment to the old as well as the young folk who were gathered in the audience. However, after a considerable length of time, her chil- dren and his found one another quite likeable and interesting persons. In the end they settled their differences in a sensible way and showed signs of becoming a very happy family. The outstanding performances were given by Bonnie Dearolph as the youngest of the children, Betty Kastory as the elder daughter of Agnes Martyn, Joe Pipher as the colored handy man, and Fred Bowser as the widower.
