We are grateful to Thee, Father, for the privilege of dwelling in a land of freedom, which has been purchased for us with great sacrifice under Thy holy will and guidance. Father, help us to appreciate our educational privileges under a free government and to conduct ourselves in our chosen fields as may please Thee. May each member of our class find a place of usefulness in service, both to Thee and country, to the glory of Thy name. Help us, O Father, to be fair in our dealings, exemplary in our living, kind in our approach, con- siderate in our attitudes, prompt in our engagements and pure in our motives-that we may thus do honor to those who have confidence in us and pray for our success. May the leaders of our land ever be endowed with strength and wisdom, that the Ship of State may be safely guided through the troublous waters to a safe anchorage. ' Grant that we shall fill our places well, that we may help establish a land secure in the face of all opposing forces.
