TO OUR GRADUATES Our lanuary class of l95l, numbering eighty-six, has already left Parker High School. Soon our lune graduates, numbering lQ4, will receive their diplomas. ln addition, we expect to award about 30 Cf.E.D. diplomas. ln all, we should have about 310 graduates in l951. War clouds are again appearing on the horizon. We hope any of our graduates who are called to the Service will come home safe and sound. However, we will lose our freedom unless we are willing to fight for it, Let us hope and pray for peace in our time. lf you have done well in school, my advice to you is to go on and secure further education. Chicago has many colleges and advanced schools. Take advantage of them. You will never regret it. Keep your heads high and cling to your ideals, Our best guide is the Ten Commandments --- recognized alike by the Catholic, the Protestant, and the lew. Observe these commandments and you will be happy here as well as hereafter. Sincere congratulations to each and every one of you. You are now numbered among the honored graduates of Parker High School, We are proud of you and hope to find in the years ahead that we can Continue to be proud of you.
