io 'lfw SEIUDF Class Jn Um, 5 Our Ianuary graduates totaling 138 have received their diplomas and are now honored graduates of the Parker High School Soon our Iune graduates numbering 261 will leave Parker for good Nearly two years have passed since VI Day These have been reconversion years char actenzed by serious shortages full employ ment high wages inflationary prices and in dustnal unrest Soon I hope we shall get into full production and enjoy more peaceful and happier times In this atomic age we should all work for world peace I urge all of you to study e Unlted Nations Organization Therein lies e hope of the world Unless the nations of e world organize to enforce world peace ur future will be perilous If you have done well here in your school work I advise you to go to college or get ad ditlonal training because every great war is followed by an economic slump or depression VVhen it will come most economists do not know but that it will come they are all very certain. Then those who are unskilled will be laid off. Therefore I urge you to make the most of the next few years. To each of our graduates I wish to extend my sincere congratulations. You will never regret the sacrifice you have made to secure a high school diploma. Your years at Parker have been busy ones. For the future I wish for each of you all happiness and success. We hope that in the years ahead you will continue to be a source of pride to your parents and teachers. Keep busy and cling to the high ideals you now have and your success will be certain.
