CLASS OF FEBRUARY, l928 The class of February, 1928, entered Parker in February 1924, It was put under the leadership of Miss Jane Deming, who, since then, has been transferred to Hyde Park. It was only natural that this class should feel strange and much lost in its new home of education. However, it chose Dan F erner as class presi- dent, and soon this feeling of strangeness wore away and the members of the class became a part of their surrounding, besides making many new friends. A year passed and the February students were no longer freshmen. As their leaders, they chose Bob iO'Leary, president, john Detrich, vice-president, Llew Abbott, secretary, and Anna May Richardson, treasurer. The class was now under the leadership of Mr. Henry S. Peacock, who still lingers in the memory of Parkerites. They loyally supported all the school publications, athletics, and other organizations. As juniors this class distinguished itself both scholastically and socially. Now they had reached the height of their ambition-they were seniors! As 4B's they chose Carroll Gebhardt, john Nichols, Annie Aasen, and Roger Currier as class officers. They had participated in almost every athletic endeavor due to the excellence of Jack Creswell, Ralph Fowler, and John Nichols on the basketball team. Mary Stringer also showed her splendid ability in swimming. Randall Ahern and Earl Kubicek were officers in the R. O. T. C. and later awarded medals. Then came their last semester for reveling under the jurisdiction of their Alma Mater. Their leaders were all well known: jack Creswell, Mary Stringer, Annie Aasen, and Ralph Fowler. During this year they also had several members on the Annual and the Green and IfV1zite staffs. ' BERNICE GOLUS. fln Collaboration with Harriette Brownj l19l n..,.is. ..r.f...- mt, .1 '
