LAUGI-ILIN Mr. Butler Laughlin was appointed principal of the Parker Senior High School in February, 1926. Previous to that time he was principal of the Libby Grammar School, an education and mathematics teacher at the Chicago Normal College, and a mathematics teacher at the 'Harrison High School. He is a graduate of Indiana State Normal College and Indiana University, where he received his A. B. degree in 1910. He has done post-graduate work at the University of Chicago in education and mathematics. He will teach these subjects at the 1928 summer session of the Chicago Normal College. MR. SMITH 9 Mr. Harvey D. Smith became assistant principal at Parker in 1920. He is a graduate of Cornell University, from which he received his Ph.B. degree in 1896. He has done post-graduate work at the University of Chicago in mathe- matics and education. Previous to his coming to Parker Mr. Smith was principal of the Roosevelt Grammar School of Joliet, Illinois. He teaches geometry and commercial geog- raphy at Parker. 'YJ if 1151
