She was a graduate of Beaumont High School and later attended business college. Starting in 1960, Mrs. Hall has been in charge of the Bookstore and all student fund accounts for Parker High. She also takes care of Parker’s attendance records. In addition to these duties for Parker High, our bookkeeper is in charge of the budget accounts for the school district. Even though she stays busy, Mrs. Hall works hard to please our students and is greatly appreciated. 3 ADMINISTRA TION ____________I MR. WAYNE SWEETLAND, Member MR. J. E. BUSH. Pres. We just flew in on Flight 65 with that curvacious stewardess, April Tucker. We're here, J. C. Keesey, UPI reporter, and Dave Morris, UPI cameraman, to find out what the good folks of Parker are doing after the Twenty Year War over water rights. We went to see Lawyer Weidel and learned from her legal secretary Pam Davis, that she is buying out Fort Knox. Pat Dye, plastics research engineer, and David Peterson, chemical engineer, are also making money with their product Plastough , designed by Jeanette Dye, famed mathematician. This product is being used by Frank Savino in the construction of irrigation ditches. Ray Alcaida and Bub Hall are veterinarians and thriving with the increased grazing area bringing more cattle. Parker High School has become famous with the rising stardom of its lone pom-pom girl, Myron Bottorff, trained by PE teacher, Sharon Biceps Gorrell, said Ted Vaughn, social studies teacher. The school now has a full-time nurse, Emma Palmer, and a psychiatrist, Mike Tobey. Danny Traxler is starring in Love: Italian Style that he wrote and is directing. We went to the Parker Medical Center next, and has the place expanded! Marcia Mayfield, cosmetologist and John McCabe, D.V.M. , were only a few we saw. We went in to see Benny Simmons, renowned obstetrician, but his secretary, Christy, said he was out. Rose Yazzie took David's temperature as a consolation. As we went out the door we ran into Verlyn Jones, psychiatric social worker. She said to see Calvin Laffoon, head of the Tribal Council, about welfare among the Indians. We went but Calvin was out. Dan Eddy and Eldred Enas, Tribal Council members, said the tribes were benefiting from the water and cited Lee Flores and Frank McCabe as two of the valley's richest ranchers. From there we stopped at Blue Water Marina and caught the hottest act in show biz ; Del Stevens and his combo with Sidney Mahalia Jackson and Alice Keys. Mike Laughlin also starred with his fabulous Sidewalk Surf-Board Act, along with Connie Zeyouma and her fire-baton. Next we went to the Parker Art Institute and saw some paintings by Sherrie Odgen, Jack Lankhorst, and Kelly Darnell. We stopped in to see Janice Fingers Dailey giving a rub-down to All-Pro Steve Biro. Sig Hall, Detroit Lions' fullback, and Ray Dowdy, Baltimore Colt's Q B, were also there. Then we went to Brent Ross' productions and saw Gil Lillard starring in the Rebel . Ferdina Stevens is a dental assistant on the lot assigned to keep Yuma's teeth gleaming white (34 percent fewer cavities). Chuck Biggs is in charge of e-lectrical wiring in his capacity as electrical engineer with the help of Garfield Shaffer. Deanna Bonds is Yuma’s secretary; Kathleen Brown is Chuck's secretary; Connie Fender is Garfield's secretary; and Suzanne Lesmerises is Brent's secretary. Our car was about out of gas so we stopped at Ed Cowles' garage. Paul Clark, chief mechanic, said that Orlinda Peck and Linda Sachak were happily married. Clyde Short hollored from under a Rolls-Royce that Cheri Wymore had just won the Hog-Calling Championship for the 10th time. Just then that glamourous Hollywood Starlet, Kay Williams, drove up. She said she had just come from an interview with that elite gossip columnist, Sharon Holland. Larry Starr came in behind us towing a car. It seems Francis Mahkewa was so excited at becoming an R. N. that she ran into a telephone pole telling Toni Romo, a plain old farmer's wife, the good news. When we sped away, we saw Judy Smith, Queen of the River and her lovely court composed of Susan Muse, Elsie Ray, and Glenna Turner. Es-courting them were Robert Scott, Vallance Arkie, and Mel Arnold. As we drove into the setting sun, the sound of David Wood's Honda faded into the distance. suoimf Sec. -Treas.: Kay Rogers Pres.: Laura Laack Vice Pres.: Curtis Konkel Junior Class Officers Mr. Brennan, Mr. Laughlin, Miss Davie, Mr. Siebert Sponsors for the Class of ’66 23 Carol Alcaida Bill Beeson Marilynn Biggs Ron Bouck Nell Brennan Nora Bums Beverly Collins Gay Davis Pamela Dick Sarah Dock Jim Dockery Mari Edmonson 24 Shirley Esquerra Sugie Fisher Johnny Fisher Brad Hatch Steve Holdread Nicky Holt Jeanette Hoover Edith Howard Genena Humeumptewa Jimmy Jones Curtis Konkel Laura Lacck Judy Gaither John Gibbs Beverly Hall Patti Hall Marion Hamblin Tony Harper Curtis Laird CarokLaMar Dennis Leamons Mike Lee Hope Leivas Wayne Little Arleta Loveridge Donald Mahkewa Dennis Martinez Doug McDaniel Frances McDermott Yvonne McPherson Karen Melton Roger Merritt Mama Miller 26 Mike Miller Kathy Moore Lorenzo Nopah Sandra Norris Everett North Terrie Ogden Connie Patrick Susan Peters Mike Peterson Edwin Powsey Tammie Rash Kay Rogers Faerie Romo Dina Saucedo Mary Seaton 27 Theona Shill Harry Smith Connie Solper Dick Sorrells Charles Stewart Barbara Street Mark Stroud Carl Studer Noreen Swick Katie Van Fleet Sharon Williams 28 SOPHOMORES Sophomore Class Officers Sponsors for Class of ’67 30 Mr. Byrd, Mrs. Bocanegra Jack Abendroth Rosie Alvirez Fiona A mador Gayla Arrison Carolyn Barnes Marilou Beaver Barbara Biro Mike Bowlin Judy Burns Kathy Carnahan Vivian Chavez Bobby Crider Rusty Crider Alice Daniel Mike Davenport Ricky Davis Steve DeVoe Guthrie Dick Brad Dock Evelyn Drennan 31 Donald Eddy Domingo Esquerra Janette Evanston Carla Fernandez Evelyn Fisher Glenn Fisher Neil Flores Rudy Flores Carlos Franco David Frost Nancy Gallaher Larry Gerbitz Benny Goodman Judy Graham Jon Grim Sharon Grinnell LeRoy Hall Irene Hardesty Carrie Hidde Dick Hines 32 Amber Hord Jimmy Jackson Dorothy Keys Amelia Laffoon Tony Leon Brenda Lesmerises Joanne Lomayesva Carolyn Logan Diana Martinez Gregory Mattice Maretta Merritt Marsha Miller Earl Morgan Garry Neider Larry Neider Travis Nop ah Arthur Palmer Vyonne Patch Wayne Patch Joe Perez 33 Patty Pierce Donald Pipins Sally Pool Anna Pope Leo Ray Carolyn Renquest Larry Russell lola Salbacka Alaine Seechoma Stanley Shaffer Becky Shill Dale Short David Silva Billy Skaggs Sheila Skinner Ken Smith Mike Smith Eddie Sorrells Jackie Sorrells Orman Stanley 34 Randy Stiffler Charles Street Ellen Studer Doug Totten Harold Turk Virginia Vasarhely Sterling Welsh Bobby White Doreen Wilson Jimmy Alewine Norma Pope 35 Pres.: Steve Suffecool Vice Pres.: Stan Suffecool Sec.: Madalyn Laack Treas.: Maurine Allsop Freshman Class Officers Sponsors for the Class of '68 Miss Hubbard Mr. Walker Mrs. Witzleben 37 Madeline Alcaida Maurine Allsop Clyde Andress John Angus Barney A spa Raymond Bell Karen Bolton Eddie Bonds Stephanie Bonds Sherry Bottorff Vicki Bullock Alice Carrillo Harold Claw Candi Critchlow JoAnn Davis Tex Dock Gayle Dowdy Bill Dussaman Rodney Elam Sally Evans 38 Lannie Falls Wilma Fisher Linda French Donald Garrett Jesse Gerbitz Tommy Gonzales Sylvia Gorman Sharon Hall Courtney Harper Robert Harvey Alan Hatch Marc Henry Robert Hilton Anthony Holderness Gary Howard Linda Howard Ed Israel Ted Jackson Sandra Kash Madalyn Laack 39 Rose Lancaster Joke Lankhorst Val Laughlin Frank Leuppe Jr. David Logan Mary Logan Imogene Lomayesva Luigi Lomavitu Frank Lopez Marty Lynn Arnold Martin Albert Martinez Gary Mattice Jimmy McDaniel Scotty McHenry Charlotte Meadows Janie Merritt Charles Miller Diane Miller Jackie Miller 40 Jennie Miller Ken Mills Norma Moore Ricky Murphy David Muse Kerry Norris Juanito O'Campo Marilyn Paddock Kelly Patrick Robert Pena Mike Ramsey Tommy Riggs Cleta Roberts Mario Robledo Miriam Romo Luis Salaiza Joe Salazar Sally Saucedo Paul Seaton Alfred Shaffer 41 Jimmy Simms Linda Smith Cathy Stewart Tommy Stroud Stan Suffecool Steve Suffecool David Talley Charles Taylor Kenton Track Vance Twiggs Walter Vallance Phoebe Welch Danny W eir Max Wellington Rita Wendt Bill Wiebeck D.
