The year is 1981. It has been 20 years since I, Jerry Collings, mooched my last piece of paper at Parker High School. The last few years I have spent in gathering information as to occupations and whereabouts of my old classmates. Here is the list: Rodney Amador--Portrays the ever sly Hawkeye in the new Guestward Ho television show. (He has the reputation of being the biggest wolf in Hollywood!) Judy Beeson—Married to a Parker Valley cotton grower, also teaches English at Earp Junior High. Patsy Burns—Head nurse at Parker Grade School, married and has a family. Kathy Cook—Married a New York stockbroker after a successful modeling career. Judy Cousino—Is now teaching Hula lessons in Hawaii. Kitty Cowan-Entered the space race: whereabouts unknown. Dana Sue Cox—Private secretary for Governor J. Hall. Sandra Cox—Is now a snob and wouldn't let me in that big white house that she and the President live in. Junior Crider—Is the close associate and personal assistant of Dr. L. G. Hatch of M. I. T. Arthur Danials—Basketball coach for the Valley High School. Joan Dussaman—Instructor of Karate at the University of Hawaii. Teaching is only a hobby since she is married to a pineapple king. M nuai Esquerra—Is now pushing buttons at Cape Canaveral. Paulette Garcia—Is the head hostess at the world famous nightclub, Polynesian Gardens. Elaine Gibbs--Married a blond naval officer from Long Beach. Mike Gordon—CENSORED; RESTRICTED INFORMATION; That information classified as TOP SECRET. Jack Gravel—Took over the Ernie Kovacs show, also a sports broadcaster and disk jockey. Betty Hall—Married a wealthy melon man in the Parker Valley. Jim Hall—Running for a third term as governor of Arizona. Veronica Homer—Teaching girls P. E. at Parker High. Bunie Harvey--Doing a flaming baton act for the Flamingo in Las Vegas. Lyman Johnson—Is Ambassador of Good Will to the Fiji Islands. Harry Laffoon—Made a fortune in cotton and bought out Adolf Coors, Inc., of Golden, Colorado, where he now resides. Gilbert Leivas—Has the distinction of being the only major cotton farmer in the valley able to raise enough kids to do his own picking. Tony Leivas—Has leased out his farm and now runs Pool's Tavern. Loise Maha—Spends most of her time watching the young 'uns. Norma Marcy—Went into the packaged cake mix business. Sandra Martinez—Teaching Shorthand II at Parker's new experimental school for students of exceptional ability. Pat O'Brien--Has a chainof Root beer stands between Earp and Hope. Givesold fashioned ChaCha lessons on the side. Sandra Pipins—Married a rocket technician from Greenland. Sheran Potter--Made Parker's High Society by marrying a prominent psychiatrist. David Romero—Is known as the A1 Capone of Parker. His mansion is located on top Black Mountain. Jan Scofield—Doing research work for Westinghouse. Mike Scott—Said that when he got through polishing the gold medals he won in the Olympics, he was going to Pluto and be a big game hunter. He also picks a mean guitar. David Seaton--Is half owner in Claypool Seaton, a coast to coast chain of markets. Sherry Skousen—President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer of the Jack Gravel Fan Club. Milton Stevens-Doing the animations for the Rocket J. Squirrel television show, an old program recently brought back by popular demand. 76 Stanley Tolbert--Listed as a missing person since his rocket propelled motorcycle misfired and sent him hurtling into space. Mount Palomer has reported a mysterious object in orbit about Jupiter's fourth moon. Could this be the old Throttler ? Judy Wadley—Married a big wheel from Bouse. Winona Welsh—Happily married to a Parker businessman. She is the Women's Wrestling Champion of Parker. Steve Wood—Receives $20 a week for guarding the torches at Polynesian Gardens. Jane Campas—Is in the baby sitting business. She has 17 children. Vivian Booth—Teaching advanced mathematics at Parker High.
