CLASS PROPHECY The year is 1980. Upon boarding an inter-planetary rocket at the Parker Municipal Rocket Terminal enroute to Satelite City, Moon, we thought the stewardess looked familiar. Upon inquiring we found it to be LUCITTA CARL. After we finally got settled in our seats, Miss Carl came to chat with us. She told us that the pilot of the rocket was Bob Low and his co-pilot was STEVE JIMINEZ. She also mentioned that JERRY HOOVER is now designing the 1981 Model Rocketmobile. We seemed to hear some familiar voices and when we turned around we discovered JAMES WILLIAMS, now the owner of a power company on the dark side of the moon. Seated with him is the famous 80th Century Wolf Star, CHARLES DAVID RENQUEST, who has just finished filming Tarzan and the Seven Dwarfs. ” Seated to our right are MARY SUZANNE HENSON, the owner of Sue’s Beauty Salon of Holly weed, and BETTY JEAN BUCKLEY, now married to one of the bald headed Rockefellers. While talking with Mr. Williams, it was mentioned that RICHARD SKENANDORE, ambassador to Russia, had a nervous breakdown and had previously gone to the moon for a rest with his body guard, ALBERT YAVA. Picking up the latest edition of the Planet News, we noticed that MISS ROBERTA BEAVER, the Governor of the state of Alaska, and MR. PATRICK LYNCH (the Conniving, politician who is running for the president of the U.S.), were traveling to the moon for a very important meeting with the mayor of Satelite City. MISS BONNIE PULVER. When we arrived on the moon we hailed a taxiatomic . Oh, incidentally the driver was none other than ROSELEE NORTH. She told us that CHARLOTTE NORRIS was married and had six children, and that MARLENE SWICK was a secretary for DARRELL SCOTT'S Bottling Company. While registering at our hotel we met SANDY COX who informed us that he was now head of the Union Rocket Fuel Company. Later we found out that in the adjoining hotel room were Linda Goldwater (formerly MISS DUSS-AMAN) and her husband. Linda was telling us that they are contemplating buying land on the moon for a new type of Goldwater vacation resort. As it was approaching dinner time we decided to dine at ’’Ray's Pluto Club”, (owned by VIRGINIA RAY) we were welcomed by the head waiter, ANTHONY POLACCA. After finishing our tea Madam Nonsi came to read our tea leaves. We found out later that it had been none other than ANTIONETTE WAYLONIS. All at once the house lights went out and the stage lights came on. Then with a loud fanfare the master of ceremonies. WAYNE ROLAND, introduced the first act. a skit starring MIGUEL ALVIREZ as Joe Lewis. In the next act appeared NANCY JO SMYTH dancing in a Chorus line. The last act consisted of dancers from the distinguished Sir GUS’S Dance Studio. After the show we went to Nancy's dressing room to visit with her. When we mentioned that we were looking for some entertainment, she suggested that we go to the basketball game; University of the Moon vs. Earth Globetrotters. When arriving at the game we noticed ARTHUR DANIELS managing the famed Globetrotters. ROY TRACK and PHIL TSOSIE were both star players on the U. of Moon's team. Then came the biggest shock of all the coach of the U. of Moon's team was none other than BILL NORTH. Exhausted from the days activities we retired to our hotel room. The next morning we decided to go shopping. While peering in the window of an exclusive dress shop, who should walk out of the door but WINONA WELSH. Winona informed us that she and ALBERTA PATCH were the owners of the dress shop. They invited us to lunch but we declined the invitation and found a quiet little drug store where we bumped into two more of our old classmates PAT QUINONIS, and CHRISTINE BERNAL. Pat is now secretary for the Atomic Babyfood Company, and Christine is skating with the Satelite City Roller Team. Bidding them Good bye” we continued on our way. As we passed the magazine stand we noticed a familiar style of drawing on the front of one of the comic books. Looking, we recognized the name WILLIAM McCABE scrawled in large letters across the bottom of the front cover (it was only $1.00, so we bought a copy.) That afternoon we returned to our hotel room and watched cineramic television which we understood was invented by WILLIAM TURK. We tuned in just in time to see an advertisement for the Alewine Lumber Jack corporation, owned and operated by Mr. CHARLES ALEWINE. Much to our surprise HURLEY FISHER made an appearance on the screen as the announcer for the heavy weight champion boxing match between MIKE WAYLONIS, and Georgous George Jr. We decided to retire early that evening as we were making our departure for earth the following morning. The next morning while standing in the ticket line at the rocket terminal of Satelite City we noticed a familiar face among the crowd. We finally got his attention and he rushed over to greet us. It was no other than GILBERT LEI V AS, who had grown to be quite a big man these days, owning a large amount of land. He told us that he was the leading cotton grower on the moon and getting bigger everyday. He also mentioned that his friend RICHARD LUCERO was now head of a syndicate which smuggled monkeys to the moon. We, WANDA HALL, a P. E. teacher at the University of Parker (I saved twenty years for the trip), and PAT AYERS a leading designer of space suits were rather glad to be on our way home to the bustling city of Parker after a nice and interesting vacation to the moon.
