Un the Road Again Girls choir sings to their heart's content. Concert Band performs their best of the year. Waiting patiently for the hotel to get on their toes. 1BelowD Your innocent act doesn't fool us, you rowdies! E After four years of Booster Dinners and fund raisers, the time finally came for the Band and Chorus trip. This year the Band and Chorus members head- ed for Minneapolis, Minn. for the World of Music Festival. Arriving at the Radisson Hotel at 5:00 on Friday, May 8th, the members were glad to get off the busses and after a few little hassles, settle into their rooms to rest for the Marching Band contest at the St. Paul Municipal Stadium at 9:10 a.m. In the morning of Saturday the 9th, the members loaded them- selves and their instruments back onto the busses and headed for the Edina High School where the girls choir, the concert band, and the concert choir performed. After these performances, the kids, chaperones and directors went to the Southdale Shopping Mall to relax and pick up some souvenirs. Then it was back to the Radisson to swim, mess around, and get ready for the dance that night. On Sunday, the 10th, the kids packed up all their belongings and headed for Valley Fair for the 10:30 Awards Ceremony at which they received a 2nd in Marching Band, a 3rd of Girls Choir, a 4th in Concert Band and a 6th for the Mixed Choir. They then decided to spend a couple of hours at the Fair before they headed for home in the after- noon. CBelowJ Mr. Mark and Miss Gough proudly receive their trophies.
