This year's theme was Catch the Spirit in '86 . On Monday, students were in their tradi- tional blue and white colors. Coronation was held that evening at 7:30 p.m. The final moment of truth came when King Carter Krumbach and Queen Michelle Almond gave their crowns to King Don and Queen Linda. The burning of the W followed the coronation. On Tuesday, the classes got into Security Day. Wednesday, everyone went back in time to bring back the look of their parents from the 50's. On Thursday, the Old West came to life with Cowboys and Indians. Fri- day, the final day, everyone moved to Ha- waii for Hawaiian Day. Rain filled the day, so the day was spent watching VCR movies. To bring the week to a close, the football team took to the field. The Pheasants fought hard, but Wakonda was just too much, as the Pheasants lost the game. Following the game, Zypher Audio Productions provided the music for the dance. PHS really did Catch the Spirit in '86 . Royalty awaiting the crowning. Candidates were Linda Merrill, Ken Pietz, Ann Nelson, Don Even, Dawn Keeley, Chris Novak, Lisa Ketcham, Jeff Ioffer, Rhonda Friese, and Mike Iefferis. 30 Homecoming
