ANNUAL STAFF Annual Stott started oft ln a new dlrec- tlon thls year. A new advlsor, Mrs. Flyger, undertook the job ot tralnlng and directing the stalt. Annual statt also started a new publishing company thls year. The Annual Statt meetings started at the very beglnnlng ot the year. Students partlclpatlng chose the actlvltles that they would like to prepare tor the '86 annual. Meetings were held most every week tor the students to work at their own pace and get their projects done. The statt faced four deadlines thls year and met them all. They got together and decided that they were going to produce the best paper ever. Paper staff started right at the beginning of the year with stu- dents ln grades nine through twelve signing up as volunteers to write the paper. Paper staff was advised by Mrs. Connie Flyger. She contributed her knowledge and experience to help her students produce their weekly endeavor. Co-editors this year were Denise Story and Todd Leininger. Each of these students gave their time to help the other students and advise them on their ques- tions. They also did their share of reporting and adding new features to the paper to make it more interesting for the student body. Everyone who was a member ot the paper staff should take a special pride and satisfaction in knowing the job they did made the paper better and made it something for the students to keep and remember in the future years. FUTURE HOIVIEMAKERS A gllmpse would tell you the FHA girls were busy wlth an actlve year. National Famlly Week was r6COQnIZed. FHA Week WGS February 9-15 with dlf- terent actlvltles every day. Our fundraiser during the week was the annual Soup Supper. Reading Cham- pions with grades 1-6 helped the FHA bring in S840 tor the March of Dlmes. Krlstln Selby, for her second year, was an active Pep Squad member. At the State Meeting, Rhonda Friese was named to the 1986-97 Pep Squad and our chapter received the Merlt Award.
