CHEERLEADERS The 1984-85 cheerleading season was filled with hard work and determination. All five squads put a lot of effort into their cheers, routines, and stunts. They also used their talents to Hll the halls with posters and provide pep rallies for the high school. At the beginning of the year, a group of girls went to an SDSU Cheerleading Clinic. At this clinic they were shown a new routine, and some cheers and stunts. At the end of the day, they competed in a contest and came away with a Leadership Award. In January, the varsity andjunior varsity squads for boys basketball went to a State Cheerleading Contest in Huron. They performed a routine, and a number of cheers and stunts. As a reward for their dedication, they placed fourth in the State. B Y B K E T B A L L . 5 Mrs. Irma Bossman, che advisor Top to bottom: T. Duncan, K. Ebeling, H. Haase. M.
