APER STAFF Paper Staff had an enjoyable year. Under the direction of Mrs. Flyger and editor: Michelle Novak, things went smoothly. This year more articles dealing with students were put into the paper. To raise money the paper staff worked concessions at a few ball games. The staff did an excellent job of getting things done. NNUAL STAFF 1 1 1 This past year was a very good year for Annual Staff The size of the group tripled. We had many new faces so some went to a seminar at Sioux Falls College. At the seminar, we learned how to set up pages, the best way to take pictures, and how to produce the best annual possible. To meet our first deadline, we came in on a Saturday morning and worked until we finished. Our second deadline was a bit harder to meet. In order to get the forty-six pages that were due, we came in during parent- teacher conferences and worked all day. When the annual was finished, we kicked back and rested easy. FHA This year marked the 40th birthday for FHA, and the Parker Chapter helped in celebrating it. National Family Week was in November. Various FHA members gave presentations on families to the elementary classes. FHA got into the spirit of Christmas by doing a variety of different things for Secret Angel Week. FHA Week was celebrated January 10-16. During this week, FHA members attended a SADD meeting, appreciated teachers, decorated lockers and had fun. The Soup Supper was held as FHA's annual fund raiser. Various FHA members attended the Regional FHA meeting to present AAE's. Those that received superior ratings advanced to the State meeting.
