C? ' i Iecf CJit i QjJiarn pionship Moments before the beginning of a home game, the starting five are ready for action. Sophomore Nickie Qeaton fights hard against a Bruns- wick player for a vital rebound. Endless determination and teamwork were com- bined successfully to pro- duce the mighty ’68 Dragons. Starting with only one returning letterman, Bill Ogburn, the team lacked promise of success. As the season progressed and each team gained experience, Park View school spirit began to soar. Each game during the season was fought hard and played well, but the year was highlighted by the Dragon’s championship win over county rival Bluest one at Hampden-Sydney Col- lege, to take the Group II District III Title. 25
