The public schools in Mecklenburg Coun- ty are directed by Mr. A. B. Haga, Superin- tendent, and Mr. E. A. Payne, Director of Instruction, working in cooperation with the County School Board. Carrying out the decisions and regula- tions set by the Board is the responsibility of our principal, Mr. Lewis F. Morris. He holds B.S. and M.S. degrees from the Uni- versity of Virginia. In his second year at Park View, Mr. Morris supervises a staff of thirty-five teachers and a student body of approximately six hundred. 20
