The Public Affairs office is intent on building and maintaining general public interest in and support fo r Park College. They achieve this by preparing news releases, public announcements, and other promotional material to be placed di¬ rectly in newspapers and periodicals. Obtaining in¬ formation concerning campus visitors, speakers, and special programs, and promoting good community relations by inviting and entertaining on campus community leaders is also part of their program. The Public Affairs office is also in charge of direct¬ ing conferences held on campus, and in charge of Park facilities when they are used by outside groups. REGISTRAR Marilyn Magers, Assistant to the Registrar. With an almost entirely new staff, and many new mechanical devices, the Registrar ' s office has made the traditional mile-long line of Registration Day a thing of the past. Besides supervising this most trying time of the semester, the Registrar ' s office handles tran¬ scripts, grade-point averages and all of the many little problems that his schedule seem to present for a student.
