Particularly is she concerned with the welfare of each individual; in illness, homesickness, and sorrow taking the absent mother’s part. Of a retiring nature she prefers to remain in the background as much as possible, but one cannot keep from seeing her influence in many of the things that are done for the comfort and pleasure of the students. 20
