El dia de los Reyes, known by Americans as the twelfth night after Christmas, provided the opportunity for a huge Mexican gathering. Native dances, the breaking of the pinata and true comida mexicana highlighted the evening. 14

School activities often take up a student's weekends. A Saturday Car wash sponsored by the Key and Link Clubs can be monetarily pro- fitable. Providing Thanksgiving dinner for an indigent family, like Var sity Club members do can be spiritually uplifting. And hard hours spent working on the yearbook allow each student to remember it all. 13

Viva la Mexico! Authenticity provided the base for this year's Spanish club. Mexican life and culture were em- phasized. Getting together for slide shows, learn- ing songs and dances, having fiestas, and eating at La Paz were all included in this year's activities. President Andrea Neal and vice-presi- dent Margarita Ikawa, both who went to Mexico last summer on the Indiana University Honors Program, enabled the club to get into the true Mexican spirit by sharing their experiences of life in Mexico.
